For press officers
Coda Photos. Press kit.
Coda Photos is an independent music photography outlet, established February 2022, covering concerts and festivals across Europe. Our photographers shoot for our own editorial publication and license images to third-party press, brands, and the artists themselves. This page is for festival accreditation teams who want to verify Coda before approving a pass.
01 · The outlet
Independent. By design.
Coda Photos is independently owned and operated. We are not a subsidiary of, sponsored by, or under contract with any festival, venue, label, management, or PR agency. All editorial decisions, image selections, and TREACLE pieces are made by Coda's editors.
The outlet operates a Network of contracted photographers across Europe who shoot under the Coda masthead, plus a Collective program that brings new photographers into the pit alongside our editors. Every image carries a per-photo byline. The shooter who made the frame is the shooter who gets credited, on every page, every time.

05 · Why we do this
The outlet we wanted.
Most ways into music photography gatekeep, underpay, or strip credit. We started Coda in February 2022 to build the outlet we wanted to work for: per-image byline on every published frame, real rates, contracts that explain what's licensed and to whom, and a way in for photographers who don't have the network to ask politely for a press pass.
Coda runs on three lanes. The Network is contracted working photographers. The Collective is the mentorship program that brings new ones up. TREACLE is the publication that puts the craft back on the record. Colin and Annelies run it. Income from licensing and brand work pays the photographers and keeps the program open.
¶ Intermission · Coda Collective
Learn by shooting.
The Collective is Coda's mentorship program. New and rising music photographers learn in the pit, next to working editors, on real shoots. Per-image byline from day one. Festivals and venues can open a slot for a Collective shoot, in addition to standard press accreditation.
